How accurate is the pricing?
SnapDex calculates card values from aggregated recent market sales data—auction results, sales history, and current listings from trusted sources. We refresh pricing regularly, so totals reflect real market trends rather than a static price guide frozen in time.
That said, condition matters. We estimate condition from your photo—whether a card looks mint, near-mint, played, or heavily played—but our estimate is just that: an estimate. A professional grader might assess differently. For high-value cards you're selling, consider a formal grading service if condition is uncertain. For casual collection sorting, our read is plenty good enough.
Which cards and sets are supported?
SnapDex recognises cards from classic Base Set, Jungle, and Fossil through modern releases like Sword & Shield, Brilliant Stars, and Scarlet & Violet. We cover the full spectrum of variants: regular holo, reverse holo, first edition, shadowless, unlimited, special illustration rares, and more.
Some super-niche promos or regional exclusives may occasionally miss, but if it's a card a collector would recognise and price, we do too. The database is always growing.
What happens to my uploaded photos?
Your photos are used only to identify and price the cards in them. We don't share them publicly, we don't use them to train models on your behalf, and we don't sell them. They're yours, stored securely, and linked to your account.
Want them gone? You can request deletion of your entire scan history anytime from your account settings, or reach out to us and we'll delete it immediately. No questions asked.
Can I scan graded or sleeved cards?
Sleeved or top-loaded cards: Usually yes. We can see the card face through sleeves and top-loaders in most cases. Glare can reduce accuracy, so if you're getting weird results, try a different angle or lighting.
Graded slabs (PSA, CGC, Beckett, etc.): Yes. We recognise the card face visible in the slab and price accordingly. We don't yet read the grading label automatically—so a PSA 8 will be priced as the card itself rather than bumped for the grade. If you need grading factored in, you can adjust the condition manually in your results.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
Plans can be upgraded, downgraded, or cancelled anytime from your account settings—no contract, no penalty. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
If you hit any friction or have billing questions, contact us and we'll sort it out fast. We want you on the plan that fits.
